La Residence Review

La Residence
This Bed and Breakfast in Napa is more of a nontraditional B and B, in that each room has it’s own bathroom, and the breakfast is served in a room with about eight or so tables.

It’s located right off of Hwy-29, making it very convenient for wine tasting and enjoying the Napa Valley. There is even an excellent restaurant, Bistro Don Giovannis, located a short walk down the country road. While you might hear some street noise, Hwy-29 isn’t very busy at night and it shouldn’t be cause for concern.

Many of the smaller boutique inns offer a free wine tasting (cheese/appetizer) hour in the evenings, and La Residence is no exception. This quaint get-together amongst staff, and guests at the end of the day is a favorite part of the day amongst guests.
La Residence
The rooms are clean, well appointed, include a fireplace, and best of all, one of the best beds you’ve ever laid in. It’s not only the quality of the bed, but the linens that make these beds perfect after a long day touring the Napa Valley.

The bathroom is probably the one thing about this Napa inn that could use a bit of improvement. While there is no reason to avoid a stay here, there is an obvious inequality of luxury.

All in all, we strongly recommend looking into this bed and breakfast for your stay in Napa.
