There are few places that offer a Sunday brunch in Napa. Many of them are adequate to most people, however we’ve found a restaurant that has been doing an excellent job of delivering eggs, pancakes and more on Sunday mornings. Fume Bistro off Hwy-29.

Fume is a fine dining establishment which makes it a pleasure, regardless of the meal. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. Despite being so close to Hwy-29, we’ve never had an issue where street noise has distracted us from enjoying our meal. The patio is partially enclosed with plants, and has several large umbrellas to block the sun on brighter mornings.

The tables, both indoor and out, are not over crowded and the service is typically good. In our experience, breakfast is best when it is prepared in a manner that is familiar. While we like to try new and different foods occasionally, often we’re happiest with a breakfast plate that is familiar, but prepared really well.

If we had to pick a place to have brunch this weekend, it would be Fume Bistro.
